The Work of God's Hand

"All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing;
He does according to His will in the army of heaven
And among the inhabitants of the earth.
No one can restrain His hand
Or say to Him, “What have You done?” (Daniel 4:35)

In every situation of our lives, there are often many hands involved. Some of those hands are meant to be there while at other times certain people put their hands in where they do not belong. The enemy of our souls is always working to add a hand toward division, deception, and destruction. But one thing is always for sure, the hand of God is always at work on our behalf.

The same hands that stretched out the heavens are the same hands that were nailed to a tree and the Savior's hands are now molding and shaping you and me into His perfect image.

For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them (Eph. 2:10). We see this theme beautifully expressed in the life of Daniel who was taken into Babylon in exile and went through many trials and tests. Although Daniel had fallen into the hands of the king of Babylon, He was still being upheld and controlled by the mighty hand of God.

The Lord’s hand is always stretched out toward us to help refine us, revive us, and to redeem us. No matter what hand may be working against you, His hand make all the difference.

Are you aware of God's hand at work in your life at this time?

David was aware of the hand of God and even prayed:
"Though the LORD is on high, Yet He regards the lowly;
But the proud He knows from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me;
You will stretch out YOUR HAND Against the wrath of my enemies,
And YOUR RIGHT HAND will save me.
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”  (Psalm 138:6-8)

The Lord is on your side. 
He will never leave nor forsake His own precious children and especially His faithful servants. He is always present. He always cares about you. And He is always working behind the scenes and in various visible ways to accomplish His purpose for His glory and our greater good.

In fact, there is never a time in our lives where God's hand is not at work in our lives.

Here are three things that God's hand is doing in your life:

• God's Hand DIRECTS our Ways.
• God's Hand DEVELOPS our Character.
• God's Hand DELIVERS us from all evil.

He is directing our steps since all of our times are in His hands.
He is developing our character since each our trials will soon become our crowns.
He is delivering us from all evil since our every battle belong to the Lord and He is our victory!

"So...Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10)

When you understand this to be true, you will be able to face any obstacle, any opponent, and overcome every test and trial in your life.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
Maybe you need to get your hands off of something and let go of what you are holding onto too tightly. Maybe you need offer your hand to help someone in their time of need. Maybe you need to cast your cares from your hand to God's hand or freely receive what God desires to give you.

When all is said and done, IT IS WHAT IS IN GOD'S HAND THAT TRULY MATTERS. For in His right hand are all His precious sheep and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore!
