EVERYTHING BEGINS WITH JESUS!

 

“Our ministry team begins with Jesus Christ who is the Head (Col. 1:18), the Foundation (1 Cor. 3:11), and the Builder of His church (Matt. 16:18).  He is the true Senior Pastor (Chief Shepherd - 1 Peter 5:4) of every true church and therefore all of the people within this fellowship belong to Him.  

 

This keeps us from thinking too highly of ourselves and from taking an unhealthy ownership of the ministry He has called us to.  We know that apart from Christ we can do nothing and that it is only by His Spirit that we will accomplish anything that is of eternal value. Thus, we serve under His Lordship and seek to please and follow Jesus in all that we say and do believing that we are called to enjoy Him as sons before we labor for Him as His servants.”
